Available for work as bassist on the Acoustic Bass Violin (arco capable) and 4 (Low B thru D tuning), 5 (fretless), and 6-string electric bass (E through high F tessitura). Sight reading skills for most genre and clefs above average. Recorded examples as well as resume are available upon request.
I can provide a jazz group as large as a big band ( member of the Montgomery Jazz Orchestra) or as a small as a duo if needed. Please allow at least 2 weeks notice. Scale for small group is $200.00/hour for standard 3 or 4 hour job and $250.00/hour for 2 hours or less. ( 1 hour of performance time includes a 15 minute break ) Larger groups running anywhere from a dectet with horns and vocalist to a 19 piece big band have different scales depending on occassion,distance to performance or special requirements for the client.
